FLUOR – Mission Solutions
FLUOR Mission Solutions contracted Emmerth Consulting Group to drive the data migration from a Deltek Costpoint and SAP instance into a new instance of Costpoint. EC Group was responsible for the migration and the support of data validation of general and project ledgers history.
Northrop Grumman – Astro Aerospace
Astro Aerospace finally transitioned into Northrop Grumman’s larger Costpoint solution. Emmerth Consulting Group provided the the necessary data conversion with turn key testing and validation of data from the legacy instance into the corporate Costpoint instance.
Peraton
Peraton was a unique implementation in that it was not only an acquisition with a large data carve out from the legacy’s Deltek Costpoint and SAP instances. Emmerth Consulting Group provided subject matter, data migration, and troubleshooting support to both the functional and the data migration teams. We provided the necessary skill set for a successful transition of information systems.
Northrop Grumman – Astro Aerospace
Astro Aerospace, an early adopter of Deltek Costpoint, requested EC Group to perform a full system assessment on their existing use of Costpoint and made recommendations as how to adopt best business practices; Astro decided to do a full re-implementation of Costpoint. EC Group lead the re-implementation efforts, providing expertise in the Accounting, Projects, and People domains as well as providing the needed data conversion services to bring respective historical and master data to the new environment.
Northrop Grumman – Innovative Solutions
EC Group worked with Northrop Grumman’s Aerospace group in creating a migration path from their former Impresa ERP software to Deltek Costpoint in roughly 18 months from start to finish. The complexities of each program needed to be assessed prior to settling on a conversion strategy of seven years of historical data to leverage system functionality for prior year indirect rate recalculation. Additionally, the mixture of product velocity drove some of the costing structures to be efficient while leveraging information from various manufacturing planning and manufacturing execution systems.
FLUOR
FLUOR contracted EC Group to assist in the transition of project history for the Mid-America Conversion Systems conversion from iREN to Deltek Costpoint. The primary focus of data conversion was in the areas of project billing total, Cobra history and also project cost and revenue balances.
Albany Engineered Composites
Albany Engineered Composites requested EC Group to perform a full operational and system assessment, which provided insight on how the teams, business processes, and business systems were interacting. EC Group provided management with a final assessment outlining our findings and making recommendations on how Albany could operate more efficiently.
Northrop Grumman – Small Caliber Systems
Northrop Grumman Small Caliber Systems, formerly Orbital ATK, was a full up manufacturing implementation with Deltek Costpoint. There was a large focus on simplifying system configuration while finding the most efficient way to perform system transactions and providing a detailed accounting structure for shipping on hundreds of customer CLINs per delivery order.
Ahtna
Ahtna was a 6 month implementation of 7 different legal entities into one instance of Deltek Costpoint. Each business unit had unique requirements due to the varying industries that the company was in. This implementation dealt with Wage Determination and Union Contracts compounded with varying indirect allocations for billing and revenue purposes. Custom external interfaces were developed to translate external timecard systems into consumable formats for the ERP to process.
Goldbelt
EC Group led the rapid implementation of Deltek Costpoint from Goldbelt’s two legacy systems of JAMIS and Sage Pro. During the three month implementation, EC Group stood up the Costpoint environment, converted baseline master data of 21 legal entities to meet a year end requirement for go live functionality within the new ERP system. EC Group led the solution design, training, and configuration for the January 2018 go live date. EC Group also focused on the data extraction and conversion from the JAMIS legacy system.
Seaboard Foods
EC Group assisted Seaboard Corporation in the transition of various business systems to Infor M3 ERP software suite. EC Group was the genesis of the business analyst team. Accomplishments include the development of an internal SharePoint site that served as a repository for all business process documentation, structuring a Change Control Board for the enterprise applications, drafting initial project schedules, and tracking of all requirements and deliverables throughout the implementation lifecycle.
FEI Systems
FEI Systems was a Deltek GCS to Costpoint conversion performed by another consulting firm. EC Group assisted FEI Systems with validation and corrections for data conversion errors that were identified during the post go live support. Additionally, EC Group provided Deltek CER report development and training to the various teams throughout the organization.
SAIC
EC Group assisted SAIC with a conversion from a highly customized outdated version of SAP to Deltek Costpoint. During the conversion process, there were numerous processes developed to aid in the tracking and validation of contract history, created one off business process SOPs, and provided guidance and troubleshooting for integrated testing rounds within the application and go-live support.
